Frequently Asked Questions

Looking for dietary details, dog-friendliness or the practical bits before you visit? You’re in the right place.

If your question isn’t covered, give us a call or send a message. We’re always happy to help.

Do you offer vegan and gluten-free options?

Yes. We keep vegan and gluten-free options available across our food and drinks. Because our kitchen handles multiple allergens, please speak to the team before ordering if you have an allergy or intolerance.

Are dogs welcome?

Very much so. Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside, and we’re in the perfect spot for a walk around Dawlish Lawn before or after your visit.

Can I get food and drinks to take away?

Yes. Our coffees, cold drinks, breakfast baps, sandwiches, toasties and sweet treats can all be prepared to take away.

Do you take table bookings?

We operate on a walk-in basis, so there’s no need to book. At busy times there may be a short wait, but we’ll always do our best to find you a comfortable spot.

Where can I park?

There are public parking options around central Dawlish, including nearby short- and long-stay car parks. Please check local signage for current restrictions and charges.

Is there step-free access?

The café is accessed at ground level. If you have a specific access question, call us before your visit and we’ll be happy to help.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Ask the team when you arrive and we’ll let you know the current Wi-Fi details. We also welcome anyone who simply wants to switch off and watch the lawn go by.

Can you cater for groups?

Small groups are welcome on a walk-in basis. For a larger gathering, contact us first so we can talk through the best time and what you need.
